"Last Chaos" by Nako Entertainment
Decent graphics, crafting, pets and more. Seems decent-ish. Free game.
"With E.R.A.S. (Exciting Range of Aggressive Battle System), players can hit monsters within the sweep of their weapons! Combined with more exciting attack options that many action games don't have, Last Chaos provides more thrills and excitement than many similar action oriented on-line games." - "Last Chaos" website
"Lord of the Rings Online" by Turbine, Inc. EU | US
Decent graphics, nice gameplay features and much more.
You can play musical instruments, slack, and poke people. Well... You get the idea. This game actually offers stuff to do besides constantly grinding. You can also mod your UI with shiny graphics! Might post a seperate article about it later on.
Pay to play.
"Welcome to Middle-earth! Eriador is a busy place for the adventurer, filled with rights to be wronged, and Orcs to be slain. After a long day of defending the Free Peoples, its nice to kick back at the local tavern over a pint of ale and a pipe of finest-quality pipe-weed and just relax. There are actually many leisure activities for the battle-weary fighter to partake in." - "Lord of the Rings Online" EU website
"Pirates of the Caribbean Online" by VR Studio
Graphics seem a bit 2000-ish, but the gameplay seems promising.
Good thing is that you can sail around, attack ships, board them and such. Also land battles.
Expected to be finished by spring. So... Yeah... Seems not.
"9Dragons" by Indy 21
Nothing special about this game. Just one of the countless Japanese/Korean grind games with awkward interfaces.
Free MMORPG, hystorical genre.
"Dungeon Runners" by NCSoft
Free game. Grind, grind, grind and then grind some more. I expected more from NCSoft, but check it out anyways!
"Voyage Century" by Snail Game
Free game, based on pirate times. Crafting, exploring and combat. A bit slow-paced, but still a good time killer. You can find secret locations, items and ofcourse... treasure! Become a farmer, sailor, tailor, blacksmith, soldier or even a diplomat. There is still too much grinding for my taste. Worth a try.
"Myst Online: URU Live" by Cyan Worlds
Is there a true gamer that doesn't know of Myst?
Semi-pay2play. Check it out.
"Gods and Heroes" by Perpetual Entertainment
"Ruin Online" by Broke Ass Games
"Regnum Online" by ngd Studios
"Hero's Journey" by Simutronics
"Huxley" by Webzen Inc.
"Project Wiki" by Webzen Inc.
Two new games by Webzen. Huxley is expected to be released for XBox360 and PC, while Project Wiki is only for PC.
Knowing Webzen, they will most likely not meet the 2007 deadline, but at least one of the games(Huxley) seems promising. They plan to make Huxley like a FPS/MMORPG hybrid. Let's wait and see.
So that's it for now. I hope that someone finds this usefull! Cheers!
